The following course titles have been approved for training credit by the
Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board:
Solving People Puzzles - Basic Training
This course is typically offered as a 6 hour course targeted at improving
understanding of behavior and beginning to develop knowledge of how to adapt to
different types of people to build better teams and relationships.
Participants gain knowledge that will improve communication skills.
The course fundamentals can be broken into a 3 hour
module designed as ground work for other training courses.
Building the Team I - Interaction Dynamics for
Team Members
This
course is offered as a 3 hour module to continue growth in understanding
personality interaction dynamics. The primary objective in the course is
to build a team by enhancing communication and understanding between different
team members.
The course can be offered in a 4 hour module if Solving
People Puzzles has not been completed.
Building the Team II - Interaction Dynamics for
Team Leaders
This course is intended as a continued training course for team leaders.
Participants learn skills targeted at building a team and encouraging behavior
that yields positive results from a team leader’s perspective.
Building Trust - Improving Interviewing Skills
Participants will learn how to better relate to interview subjects so that trust
is quickly developed. They will also learn adaptive strategies to improve
interviewing effectiveness.
Conflict Resolution
Participants learn adaptive strategies to minimize conflicts in advance and to
reduce conflict once it is encountered.
